Business Acuity have released version 1.3 of RFID/NFC Security System that provides Guaranteed Proof of Attendance

The main new feature of the RFID/NFC Security System v1.3 is the ATTENDANCE  alert system. This can be setup to ensure that an automated alert is sent via email,  SMS text message or web-service transactions (or  any combination thereof) to whoever you choose. Each alert can check for the attendance of a specific person at that location (eg John Smith)  or type of person (eg dog patrol) or that someone/anyone must attend. If they do not attend that RFID tag and touch with the Near Field Communication(NFC) mobile phone within the specified time frame, the alert is sent immediately. The option is priced based on how many tags that need to be configured  with an alert.

This improves the Lone Worker monitoring in the system . A Lone Worker can press the alert call function to open up a communication with a control centre so staff can discretely listen in to what is happening, and make the necessary decision on the level of support required. Should a Lone Worker  not touch a tag at the specific time allocated an alert can be sent automatically raising the alarm and identifying the possible location between the last tag touched and the alert tag so assistance can be given.
